...more about Expansion
The next strategy is to expand your horizons and push the boundaries of what you really believe you can create as well as establishing what kind of life your business is going to be designed to support.
That’s what great businesses do, support a life, not consume a life or be a life. Once you know what you really wish for in your practice and that it’s going to sustain you in the long term, I get to challenge you to start playing with how big it could get - to stretch your boundaries - to dream a little, to get you to start believing in the amazing business you have always dreamed of building but didn’t know how, or secretly believed you are capable of creating but didn’t dare to try.
One of the most common bad habits I see in my clients is playing a small game. This could be where a practice is allowed to take up every waking hour and perhaps some of the sleeping ones as well, because of a belief that either it has to be hard work to run a practice or you won’t succeed.
Another example is where despite a client having a big dream, the game they are playing is only aiming at small, safe results. Playing big means moving past either/or into both and past safe into thrilling!
